March 22, 2008. There's this uncle of mine who did get married last Black Saturday (cool). He's my only uncle who hasn’t been married yet in my mom's family.
And so, the night before the wedding, I went to my grandparents' house to help my cousin do the program (she's the wedding coordinator and she told me that we will be the Emcee for tomorrow's ceremony). When I came back home, my mom told me to sing. Morning came and she was still bugging me to sing. You all know how it feels like when your mom makes "parinig", right? And so, I went over to my computer then opened “Limewire” (THANKS to Limewire) to search for a wedding song and afterwards, I’ve downloaded the song from it. After searching and searching from all the beautiful songs that were created by very talented people of the Music Industry that were suitable to sing in a wedding, I’ve ended up choosing "For you I will" that was sung by Monica. I listened to it several times then practiced it. Then I downloaded its Instrumentals then tried to practice it as well as memorize the lyrics of the song.
The time for the make over came and so we went to the hotel to meet the Make-up Artist. I've just brought the mp4 (where I put the songs) and my speakers. Luckily, I left the lyrics in our house and the good news about that is that I haven’t finish memorizing the lyrics of the song. Hihi...
After doing everything-the make up, changing of gowns and all, we’ve decided to do the vanity work and that is to do our OWN photo shoot. Here are some of the proofs: (other pictures that were taken at that moment were in my cousin's cam-not yet available)
vanity strikes yow!

the groom, the father and the nephew (my cousin -mr pogi pose and peace sign..haha)
♥hihihi.. I dunno if they'll like it posing it here in my blogsite.. shhhh..people! haha.. ^_____^
Then ten-ten-tenen!! Yihee!! I’ve lighted their paths together with my partner (Ehem! "lighted!!=holy???") then afterwards I’ve read the scripture that the pastor said (yup! we're not catholic- we're born-again Christians). After reading from King James Version (that is considered one of the hardest Bible translation to read upon. Thanks to my mom who gave me that version of Bible) that has tongue twister kind of words like lovETH, cherishETH and the like words that ended up with -ETH, the pastor proceeded with the ceremony.
Then tadah! "Kiss the bride!" After that, it's hosting time!! Ehem! The program went well and I decided not to sing anymore because I haven’t memorized it yet...(Kung ang mga professional singers nga kailangan ng practice, syempre dapat ako din.. haha.. Nasa side ko pa rin ang kapalaran dahil wala palang usb connector..) So in short, literally, I can't perform.. hihi.. Anyway, my cousin's wife sang like a real PRO..ASTIG.. pa easy easy lang habang kumakanta and to think buntis pa siya.. cool.. walang wrong pitch..
Well, we ended up posing for our so-called photoshoot.. AGAIN…hihi.. The proofs? Here they are: (again, others were in my cousin's cam and the official photographer's cam-still unavailable)

here is the lyrics of the song na dapat kakantahin ko sa wedding:
FOR YOU WILL (Monica)
When you're feeling lost in the night
When you feel your world just ain't right
Call on me, I will be waiting
Count on me, I will be there
Anytime the times get too tough
Anytime your best ain't enough
I'll be the one to make it better
I'll be there to protect you
See you through
I'll be there and there ain't nothing
I won't do
(Chorus:)
I will cross the ocean for you
I will go and bring you the moon
I will be your hero, your strength
Anything you need
I will be the sun in your sky
I will light your way for all time
I promise you
For you I will
I will shield your heart from the rain
I will let no harm come your way
Oh, these arms will be your shelter
No, these arms won't let you down
If there is a mountain to move
I will move that mountain for you
I'm here for you, I'm here forever
I will be your fortress
Tall and strong
I'll keep you safe, I'll stand beside you
Right or wrong
(Repeat chorus)
(Bridge:)
For you I will
Lay my life on the line
For you I will fight (oh, oh)
For you I will die
With ev'ry breath, with all my soul
I'll give my word, I'll give it all
Put your faith in me
(Put your faith in me)
And I'll do anything
(Repeat chorus)
I will, I will, I will
(Repeat chorus)
I promise you
For you I will (I will)
I promise you
For you I will
